  • Much better than a full knee sleeve

I don't like wearing full compression sleeves because they get very hot. This is much smaller and gives support exactly where I need it.

    -Siddharth Rao, Delhi

  • Doesn't slide when I sweat

Hyderabad heat plus an outdoor court means I sweat a lot, so slipping was my main concern. Surprisingly this stays put quite well.

    -Meghna D., Hyderabad

  • Simple product but works well

I wanted something minimal rather than a huge knee brace. This gives targeted support just under the kneecap and still lets me train normally.

WHY KNEES GIVE UP

It's not age. It's load.

Every stair, every squat, every kilometre puts force through one small tendon below your kneecap. Do it long enough without support and it starts to complain.

2–4× More stress on the kneecap climbing stairs vs walking flat
+50% Higher knee extensor load on stairs than level ground
6.2 Cr Indians living with joint wear — nearly 3× since 1990
28 g What it takes to spread that load off one point
Load figures from published biomechanics research on stair ambulation. Population figure: Global Burden of Disease Study 2019.
EVERY KNEE, UNDER LOAD

Knees under load.

Not just for pain. For the days before it starts.

Running with KneeLock
Running Roads, treadmill, marathon prep. The last 2 km is where it shows.
Squatting with KneeLock
Gym & leg day Squats, lunges, leg press. Support before the knee complains.
Badminton with KneeLock
Court sports Badminton, cricket, football, pickleball. Sudden pivots, hard stops.
Dance fitness class with KneeLock
Dance & fitness Zumba, Bollywood class, sangeet practice. Jumps and landings, on repeat.
Trekking with KneeLock
Trekking Downhill is where knees pay. Manali, Rishikesh, weekend hills.

THE SOLUTION

One strap. Right on the tendon.

Firm pressure exactly where the patellar tendon meets your kneecap — so the load spreads across the strap, not one point.

EVA Pressure Pad Targets the tendon. Not the whole knee.
Anti-Slip Silicone Holds through squats, sprints, stairs.
Dual-Strap Tension Two straps. Adjust it mid-session.
KneeLock patella support strap
Breathable Neoprene Vents sweat. Built for Indian heat.
Fits 30–48 cm One size. Left knee or right.
28 Grams Light Lighter than your phone charger.
Runner pausing mid-session to hold his knee

You didn't start this yesterday.

6 AM court slot. Sunday runs your family calls madness. Leg day, never once skipped. Then the knee started talking. Now you sit out the third game — and take the lift.

Move like
you used to.

No hesitation. No mid-move maths. Finish the last kilometre. Take the stairs down. Stop counting. Just move.

PICK THE RIGHT ONE

Strap, sleeve or brace?

Three different products. They don't do the same job.

KneeLock
Strap
Compression
Sleeve
Hinged
Brace
Best for Tendon load below the kneecap General warmth and all-round compression Post-injury or post-surgery stability
Coverage One targeted point Whole joint Whole joint + side hinges
Weight 28 g 80–150 g 400–900 g
Heat build-up Minimal — leg stays open High in Indian summers High
Movement Full bend, unrestricted Slight restriction Deliberately limited
Sizing One size, adjustable S/M/L/XL — sizing errors common Fitted, often prescribed
Wear time 10 seconds, on and off Pull over the foot Multiple straps
Under clothes Invisible under trackpants Visible outline Not wearable under clothes
Typical price ₹999 ₹400–1,200 ₹2,500–6,000
A strap is for load. A brace is for injury. If you're recovering from surgery or a ligament tear, see a physiotherapist first.

The Difference

The KneeLock Takes All That Destructive Shockwave, not your tendon...

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Everything you're wondering.

What knee size does it fit? +

One size, adjustable from 30 to 48 cm — measured just below the kneecap. That covers nearly every adult leg. Works on the left knee or the right.

Will it slip when I sweat? +

Inner silicone grip strips hold it in place through sprints, squats and full-court movement. Wear it directly on skin for the best grip.

Can I wear it all day? +

Wear it during activity — training, games, runs, long days on your feet. Take it off after. It isn't meant for sleeping in.

Which sports does it work for? +

Running, gym and leg day, badminton, football, cricket, pickleball, trekking, cycling. And everyday load too — stairs, long standing hours, walking on hard floors.

Is it one piece or a pair? +

Each pack is one strap for one knee. Most people order the 2-pack — knees work together, and the second one costs less.

Will it restrict my movement? +

No. It sits below the kneecap, not over the joint, so bending stays free. At 28 grams you stop noticing it within a few minutes.

Is this a cure for knee pain? +

No — it's support, not treatment. KneeLock reduces the load your patellar tendon takes so you can stay active. Persistent or severe pain needs a physiotherapist or doctor.

What if it doesn't fit me? +

Measure just below your kneecap before ordering. Anything between 30 and 48 cm fits — that's nearly every adult leg, and the dual straps let you set the tension yourself.

How do I wash it? +

Hand wash in cold water with mild soap, dry in shade. Skip the machine and the dryer — both wear out the silicone grip.

    Finally stays in place
I use this mainly for badminton and the gym. Most knee straps I tried kept moving once I started sweating, but this one stays surprisingly secure. Gives good support without feeling bulky.

    Big difference during leg day
Bought it because I was getting uncomfortable around my knee during squats and lunges. The support sits exactly below the kneecap and feels very stable. I can still move freely, which was the main thing I wanted.

    Very comfortable for badminton
I play badminton around 3–4 times a week and wanted something that wouldn't restrict movement. KneeLock is lightweight and I barely notice it once I start playing. Especially useful during quick side-to-side movement.

Much better than a full knee sleeve
I don't like wearing full compression sleeves because they get very hot. This is much smaller and gives support exactly where I need it. Have been using it for treadmill runs and gym sessions.

    Good support without feeling tight
I was worried it would feel uncomfortable after an hour but it doesn't. I use it while playing pickleball and it stays comfortable throughout the session. Easy to adjust as well.

    Useful for running and gym
Have used it for outdoor runs, treadmill and weight training. What I like most is that it doesn't feel like a heavy knee brace. Once adjusted properly it stays in position very well.
