Nothing happened when I opened it. Faulty?

Indoor lighting carries almost no UV, so it stays in its indoor pastel colours. Take it to a window in direct sun or step outside. The change is fast and obvious.

Does it work in monsoon?

Yes. UV passes through cloud cover, so overcast afternoons still trigger it — softer than open sun, still clearly visible.

Will it mark my skin?

The spacer beads and clasp are metal, so on very sweaty days some people do see marks. Take it off before workouts and showers, wipe it dry after wearing, store it in the pouch. That's most of it.

Does the colour stop working?

The pigment is built to cycle repeatedly. Under very heavy continuous sun over long periods the shift gradually softens — normal for this material. Store it out of direct sun when you are not wearing it.

Can I wear it in water?

Splashes and sweat are fine. Skip the pool, sea and shower — chlorine and salt are hard on the metal.

What size is it?

    I absolutely LOVE this set. It helps me know when I’ve been in the sun too long, but it also just looks SO pretty when it changes color. It’s a wonderful visual indicator of what you’re being exposed to. The quality is actually really sturdy for the necklace.     Price is great. They really do turn multiple colors in the sun. They are a milky white indoors. They will go with almost any outfit. The lobster clasp seems secure and it adjustable. The bracelet is elastic and might be a little bit small but stretches. The colors are pretty vibrant outside. They look like pearls inside. It was worth my money for this. I would purchase again.

Step outside and they shift into pastel and jewel tones almost instantly.
